PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An 11-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was struck by a car in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday morning.
Police said the crash happened around 8 a.m. along Torresdale Avenue, near Fraley Street, in Wissinoming.
A Kia Sorento struck the girl as she darted in between parked cars and into the street, authorities said. The driver stayed on the scene.
The girl remains in critical condition at the hospital.
Detectives are continuing to investigate. No one has been charged.
