PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Chester County gymnastics coach was arrested and charged with 200 counts of child pornography.
Authorities say they received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in March that an internet service provider flagged several Yahoo email addresses for uploading images of child pornography.
Investigators traced the IP address to the Spring City home of 45-year-old Gary Hutt, a girls gymnastics coach at Berks East Gymnastics in Parker Ford, Pennsylvania. He started teaching there in January.
Police say a search of Hutt’s computer turned up thousands of graphic images and videos depicting child sex abuse.
Hutt is charged with possessing and distributing child pornography. He is being held in Chester County Prison on $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week.
