Gun recovered in North Philly deli shooting that killed 2 men

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Investigators have recovered a gun that's possibly linked to a double homicide inside a North Philadelphia deli Saturday night.

A gunman unleashed a barrage of bullets on three men inside a neighborhood grocery store in the 2600 block of North 12th Street around 9:00 p.m.

Police said a 30-year-old man who was shot several times died at the hospital. Another man — whose age has not been released — was shot once but did not survive.

A third victim, a 29-year-old man, is in critical condition after being hit five times.

Authorities said they recovered a gun from the scene.

Any surveillance video from the deli will be examined by homicide detectives as they hunt for the killer. Police have yet to release the identities of the victims.
