PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a man they say robbed a mother and her son at gunpoint in South Philadelphia last week.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on Aug. 12 at Third and Delancey streets in Society Hill.
Police said a man, believed to be in his late 40s, approached a 50-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son with a handgun, demanding their wallets and cellphones.
The man took off with just her wallet. Both victims were unharmed.
Police said he was seen on surveillance video in the area 45 minutes before the robbery.
