PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A sergeant in the Haverford Township Police Department has died due to complications from COVID-19.
Sgt. Kevin Redding was a 27-year veteran of the police force. He died on Monday.
The department said his death was sudden.
Redding's death comes as COVID-19 cases surge nationwide due to the omicron variant.
