PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home in Hunting Park.
Authorities said it appears the 48-year-old woman was beaten to death in what officials are calling a domestic incident.
Investigators found her body inside a home on West Erie Avenue near Old York Road on Thursday. Police said she was bedridden, in diapers, and had injuries to her head and face.
Investigators are questioning the woman’s 46-year-old partner, who had blood on him when police got to the scene, they said.
Charges are still pending as investigators wait for the results of an autopsy.
