PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant is set to reopen in just a few weeks.
The restaurant chain, which shuttered last fall, announced on Monday that it is reopening five locations, the first at 11th and Market streets in Center City, which is set to reopen in mid-April.
Four other locations — in Huntingdon Valley, Hershey and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and in Wilmington, Delaware — will be open by the summer.
The restaurants have been closed since September 2025 after filing for bankruptcy.
The new owners include Mark Edelson, one of the chain’s founding partners, and other industry veterans: Operations Director Alexis Lundeen, regional chef Walter Weddington III, regional brewer Matt Gundrum, and General Manager Eric Maney.
The rest of the company’s 16 locations have been sold off.
Company officials said the reopening will include a scratch-made menu and on-site brewing of its award-winning craft beer. To celebrate its return, the brewery also plans to debut a new beer called “Unfinished Business.”
