PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Delaware County are asking for the public's help finding a man they say is behind several burglaries and jewelry thefts at the Springfield Mall.

Springfield Township police say 31-year-old James Bryant targeted kiosks at the mall in several smash-and-grab burglaries starting in October 2025.

In an incident on Oct. 28, 2025, police say he took close to $8,500 worth of items. On April 26 of this year, he took nearly $5,000 worth of jewelry.

Authorities believe Bryant is homeless and often uses public transportation. They say he is known to frequent the area of the 69th Street Transportation Center in Upper Darby.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Springfield Township police at 610-544-5507 or call 911.
