PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating after a woman fought off a man who attacked her while she was out for a run in a quiet neighborhood of Montgomery Township.
Around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, officials said the woman was running near Longleat and Westgate drives. She told police a man grabbed her arm and hit her in the face. She fought back and the man ran away.
Police said the man is about 20 years old with a thin build and is about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hoodie pulled up closely around his face.
He was last seen running toward Upper State Road. Police searched the area but didn't find him.
