But just how functional are cloth masks with the emergence of omicron and its rapid transmission?
Scientists are recommending that you wear a three-ply surgical mask for protection. So, what do you do with the designer masks?
You could wear them over the three-ply mask, but remember, they must be washed each time you wear them. The three-ply can be thrown away after you wear them.
