PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Is it safe to eat indoors at a restaurant now that more people have been vaccinated?
It is definitely safer now than it was before widespread vaccine distribution, but you still need to be smart.
Check whether the restaurant is complying with the CDC’s recommended prevention measures. Restaurants that reduce risks include those that offer outdoor and distanced seating, require both staff and guests to wear masks when not eating or drinking, and provide the menu online via QR codes.
Ask for individually wrapped condiments, and don’t share food. It’s also wise to limit your alcohol consumption so you can use adequate judgment.
Next to the vaccine, common sense is your best defense.
