PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Lancaster County man is charged with raping foster children who were under his care.
Pennsylvania State Police arrested 71-year-old Frank Breneman, of Lititz, Wednesday and charged him with raping two children when they were between 4 and 11 years old.
Troopers said the sexual abuse took place over a 12-year span, from 2004 to 2016. A third victim told investigators they were also abused by Breneman.
According to police, some of the victims were former foster children of Breneman’s and were assaulted while living with him.
He is being held at the Lancaster County Prison on $800,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
