At least 5 injured in SEPTA bus crash near Temple University

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — At least five SEPTA bus riders suffered minor injuries Sunday morning in a crash in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 5 a.m. near Broad Street and Susquehanna Avenue, near Temple University.

Police said a vehicle attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection and struck the bus.
About 25 people were on board at the time, according to officials. The injured passengers are expected to be okay.

No arrests have been made, and police have not said whether the driver who caused the crash will face any charges.
