PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man and his three dogs were found dead inside their East Germantown home Friday night.
Police said the man's wife had arrived at their house on the 1900 block of Medary Street just after 6:30 p.m. and found him unconscious.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the man on the floor with a dog bite on his ankle, and all three dogs, shot. A fourth dog was found inside a bathroom, but was unharmed.
Our news partners from NBC10 spoke with Philadelphia Police Captain Christopher Bradshaw.
“At this point, we are not sure who shot the dogs, but we are theorizing the owner did shoot the dogs,” said Philadelphia Police Captain Christopher Bradshaw.
Authorities said they do not know the man's cause of death, but said the circumstances of this case are suspicious.
