COATESVILLE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities in Chester County have arrested a man they said stabbed his 3-month-old at an apartment complex in Coatesville.
Police said 44-year-old Michael Phillips stabbed his infant son in the abdomen just after 11:30 Wednesday morning at the Millview Apartment Homes, near Regency and Smithbridge drives. He then allegedly took the child outside and threw him into the snow.
The child was flown to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for surgery, where he is listed in serious condition.
