PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One man has been arrested for the murder of a 15-year-old girl, but Philadelphia police are still looking for the second shooter.

Officials say 20-year-old Quadiar Dailey shot and killed 15-year-old Namir Johnson on the night of April 6 in North Philadelphia, along West Somerset Street near 25th Street.

Authorities say the teen was outside when two shooters walked up and fired into the crowd, striking Johnson in the chest.

Eight days later and several blocks away, Johnson’s friend, 16-year-old Khadeem Green, was found fatally shot in the neck in the back of a property on North Taney Street.

Investigators tied a ghost gun — a homemade firearm — to both killings.

Police are still looking for a second man in Johnson’s death: 21-year-old Samir Hawkins. He is considered armed and dangerous.

They are continuing to investigate who is behind the death of 16-year-old Green.
