PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is in custody after several alleged indecent exposure incidents in King of Prussia within the last week.
Around 12:30 p.m. Monday, authorities said 47-year-old Lawrence Ansley, of Bryn Mawr, approached a woman in the toy section of the Target store on Dekalb Pike and struck up a casual conversation. Ansley then began to perform a lewd act under his clothing, police said. The woman left and called the cops.
The next day, officials said Ansley walked up to another woman in the Macy’s at the King of Prussia Mall and asked her inappropriate questions. Police said he again exposed his genitals and engaged in lewd acts. The woman recorded Ansley and contacted police.
Ansley was also caught on surveillance video at the TJ Maxx in St. Davids performing a similar act.
Ansley fled but was identified through a joint effort between Upper Merion and Radnor police. Detectives issued an arrest warrant for him on open lewdness and indecent assault charges.
Radnor police arrested him on Wednesday for violating parole from a previous incident. He is being held at the George H. Hill Correctional Facility on the indecent assault incidents.
