PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia man accused of sexually assaulting a Walmart employee last month is now facing charges.
On Jan. 8, around 8 p.m., officials say 21-year-old Corey Elickson, also known as Corey Holly, allegedly approached a female employee inside the store along Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia and, without her knowledge, masturbated behind her.
According to Philadelphia’s District Attorney’s Office, the employee did not notice his alleged actions until she felt a wet substance on her back and clothes. Elickson then left the store and the employee reported the incident to police.
They say the clothes she was wearing are awaiting analysis but surveillance video captured the encounter.
Elickson turned himself in on Thursday to Philadelphia police.
He is charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure, open lewdness, and harassment.
According to officials, he also has an open bench warrant in Montgomery County for a theft case.
