NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead after police say he was shot in Southwest Philadelphia early Friday morning.
Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun on the 5600 block of Ridgewood Street just after 3:15 a.m. When they arrived, they found 35-year-old Dontae White, 35, shot in the head. He was pronounced dead just minutes later.
Investigators said White had been shot during a domestic disturbance that involved his 24-year-old nephew.
The nephew was taken into custody. No word yet on charges.
