PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead after he was shot outside a bar in Northeast Philadelphia Friday night.
Police told our newsgathering partners at NBC10 that just after 11:45 p.m., three armed men got out of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee on the 500 block of Alcott Street near Rising Sun Avenue and started shooting.
The man was struck in the chest and taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
There was another shooting a few hours earlier that also involved a white Jeep Grand Cherokee. Police are investigating whether the incidents are related.
