PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead after he was shot several times outside a Port Richmond bar early Saturday morning.
Police said they found the man around 6:30 a.m. along the 3900 block of Frankford Avenue suffering from several gunshot wounds. According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, he was shot near a reported speakeasy.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Police told NBC10 they believe the incident started as an argument, then moved onto the street, where dozens of shots were fired.
About 20 minutes earlier, police said a 21-year-old man was found on Ramona Avenue in Juniata Park with multiple gunshot wounds across his body. He died at the scene. Police are looking into whether these two shootings are related. As of now, no one has been arrested in connection with either incident.
