FAIRMOUNT (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating an afternoon shooting in Fairmount that left one man wounded.
Investigators did not specify a time in the afternoon for the shooting, but said it happened on 20th Street near Brown Street, a little more than a block from the Eastern State Penitentiary.
Police said the man was driven to the hospital and there are no details about his condition or specific injuries.
Detectives with the police department’s shooting investigation unit are handling the case.
