BETHLEHEM, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Bethlehem say a man is in custody after he allegedly threatened to build and detonate an explosive at this year's Musikfest event.

After receiving a tip, investigators were able to link the man, identified as Robert "Bob" Bowen, to at least three recent incidents in and around Bethlehem when someone detonated firework-sized explosive devices.

Bethlehem police, as well as FBI agents, picked up Bowen Friday at a home on the 700 block of Wyandotte Street. He has not yet been charged and remains in police custody.

Police say that while the investigation remains active, there is no threat to the public at Musikfest, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 13.
