
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating after a 61-year-old man was killed while crossing Roosevelt Boulevard early Friday morning in the city’s Olney neighborhood.
Around 1:30 a.m., authorities said the man was crossing Roosevelt at C Street when he was struck by a white Land Rover.
The 42-year-old driver was headed south on Roosevelt. The driver also struck two parked cars.
The 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed and cooperated with investigators.
Police are now trying to figure out what happened. No charges have been filed.
