FRANKFORD (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed Monday night while he was driving in Frankford.

Authorities said it happened around 10 p.m. as the man was behind the wheel of a Honda Accord on Brill Street near Frankford Avenue. It’s adjacent to Cedar Hill Cemetery in Frankford.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said two men can be seen on surveillance video approaching the car.

“The shooter appears to have fired into the passenger door window, and that window was down, striking the victim in the head," he said.

He said the Accord then crashed into a pile of snow nearby and was hit by another car.

Police identified the 20-year-old man as Orlando Diaz from Philadelphia.

Investigators said the suspects ran away, and they found two shell casings at the scene.
