PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was shot and killed after being ambushed outside his home in Mayfair late Wednesday night.
It happened around 11 p.m. on Gilham Street at Frankford Avenue.
Police said the 24-year-old victim was walking up to his house when three armed men approached him. There was some sort of confrontation, then they opened fire.
Police found the victim on the ground and transported him to the hospital, where he died.
Bullets also hit several homes.
Police said the suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan and are still at large.
