Man shot on SEPTA bus in North Philly; suspect wanted

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 24-year-old was shot on a SEPTA bus in North Philadelphia Friday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of West Dauphin Street and North Bancroft Street.

Officials say the man was shot in the foot after an argument broke out between him and another man, who police believe is in his 50s.

The 24-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.

Police say the suspect has a gray beard and heavy build. He was last seen in a black jacket, knit cap and black pants.
