Man fatally shot outside Northeast Philly restaurant; suspect wanted

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old outside a restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia Friday night.

Police say the 33-year-old man was shot in the chest around 7:20 p.m. on the 7200 block of Oxford Avenue. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died just minutes later.

According to our partners at NBC10, the suspect is believed to be a man in his late teens or early 20s, with a mustache and dreadlocks down to about his knees. Police believe he got away in a blue Honda Accord with tinted windows.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and a gold rag on his head.
