PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are searching for a man accused of throwing an orange traffic cone at an officer during a protest against ICE in Center City Tuesday night.
Officials said the officer, who was part of the crowd control team, was wearing his full bicycle uniform when the incident happened around 7 p.m. on Market Street.
The officer was using his bicycle to keep the crowd at a distance, police said, and that’s when a man in the crowd threw the cone, hitting the officer in the head. The officer was not injured.
