PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Collingdale, Delaware County are searching for a man who attacked a woman while she was pushing a child in a baby stroller.
It happened Wednesday around 2 p.m. Police responded to Chester Pike and Pine Street for reports of a stabbing.
Multiple witnesses told officers that the attacker fled on foot. Several citizens chased the suspect into a wooded area of Darby Borough but lost him, officials said.
The woman was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries. The baby was not injured.
Police released a surveillance image of the suspect. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the Collingdale Police Department at 610-586-0502 or call 911. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
