PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of robbing three banks in the last week or so.

The latest incident took place Wednesday at the TD Bank along Roosevelt Boulevard, near Levick Street, in Oxford Circle.

The other two robberies happened last week at two different Citizen Banks — one along Aramingo Avenue in Fishtown on Aug. 26, and the other along Cottman Avenue in Castor Gardens on Aug. 29.

Investigators said the suspect is about 6-foot-1 and is in his early 30s. He used a demand note to get away with the cash.

Police did not specify how much money was stolen from each bank.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Violent Task Force at 215-418-4000.
