
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a double shooting in Northwest Philadelphia earlier this week.
Officials responded to a call for a person with a gun on Lindley Avenue around 6 p.m. Wednesday and found an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the James Logan Elementary School playground.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where the 18-year-old died. The 16-year-old is in serious but stable condition.
Police say the suspect has dreadlocks and a beard and is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s.
He was last seen going westbound on Lindley Avenue from Broad Street toward Carlisle Street wearing a black hoodie with a gray design on the front and a large chain with a medallion around his neck.
Police say he may go by the nickname “Feek.”
