PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say a man stole mail from the Conshohocken Post Office last month.

Conshohocken police say it happened early Sunday morning on April 13 at Fayette and Fifth streets. The man is seen on video in a hoodie and blue medical mask using a string with adhesive on one end to "fish" for and steal mail directly through the mailbox door.

Police believe he is in his 20s or 30s. They say he has “a dark mustache or additional facial hair” and was last seen in a dark colored hoodie and a black "Columbia" shirt.

If anyone recognizes him, they are asked to contact Conshohocken police at 610-828-4032.

Authorities encourage people to use the post office’s indoor mail drop-off to ensure the safety of their mail.
