Man wanted in connection with shooting during apparent robbery in Wissinoming home

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting inside a Wissinoming home over the summer.

It was around 5 a.m. on Aug. 8 when the suspect shot a man inside a home on the 6100 block of Vandike Street during what police say was an apparent robbery. The man was critically injured.

Video released by police shows the suspect entering the home from outside, then cuts to him pointing a gun at someone off camera before he runs off toward Deveraux Street and Torresdale Avenue.

Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball-style hat with a design on the front, a black bubble jacket with a hood, black shorts with three light colored horizontal stripes on the right leg, and black athletic-type shoes without socks.
