Marlton man charged with attempting to meet teen for sex

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A 48-year-old Marlton man has been arrested and charged with trying to meet up with a teenager for sex.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office says Daniel Gallagher thought he was chatting online with a 13-year-old girl for the last several weeks. Unbeknownst to Gallagher, it was a detective. Authorities say he sent nude videos and pictures of himself as well.

When he arrived at a Staples store on Route 70 in Evesham Township to meet the teen, he was taken into custody. Gallagher has been charged with attempting to lure a minor, attempted sexual assault, and related charges.

No court date has been announced.
