PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania State Police have arrested and charged a man wanted in connection with a double homicide near the Blue Route in Delaware County three months ago.

On Sept. 13, troopers responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the northbound ramp from I-95 to I-476 just before 10 p.m. Two people, identified as Clinton Martin and Joshua Waltz, died at the scene.

According to officials, Martin was driving along I-95 northbound when he was struck by a bullet that was fired from a moving vehicle. He lost control and veered onto the northbound I-476 ramp, where he crashed into a disabled 2010 Chevrolet Malibu on the side of the ramp — and its driver, Joshua Waltz, who had pulled over earlier after hitting some debris on the road.

Marquice Naivell Pierce, 32, of Chester, is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder and weapons offenses.
