PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Zymire Hughes, the man accused of harassing people while wearing a "Chucky-style" mask in Center City last month, is back in Philadelphia after being extradited from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hughes was arrested in Las Vegas on Aug. 25 after Philly police published surveillance video and photos of him in the mask lurking around City Hall, and at one point chasing a runner. The videos subsequently went viral.
The 22-year-old was arraigned in a Philadelphia court on Sunday and is being held on a $100,000 bail.
Hughes was charged with terroristic threats, harassment and simple assault. His next court hearing is on Sept. 22.
