PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man in South Jersey was hurt after he was doused with bear spray and robbed.
It happened Tuesday night around 10:30 at the Village of Taunton Forge shopping plaza, according to the Medford Township Police Department.
Investigators said the victim was assaulted by a man who was wearing black clothes and a mask. The suspect sprayed the victim in the face with grizzly bear spray, then stole his wallet and phone.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for exposure to the chemical spray and several cuts.
