PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — COVID-19 is still considered a public health crisis, despite the fact that many see it as an "inconvenient truth."
Certainly this is not what any of us wants to hear. We want to believe that the pandemic is over. But if you monitor actions rather than words, the fact that the United States has extended the COVID public health emergency through mid-January tells us all we need to know.
There is justifiable concern that our nation's hospitals could be slammed, while a larger number will be suffering at home at risk for long COVID.
