PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — We are about six weeks away from the winter holiday season, and you know what that means: plenty of food and drink.
Certainly, we should embrace celebrations, but there are two key ways to avoid letting those celebrations weigh us down with extra pounds. The first is self control during the holiday season — tough to do but critical. The other should start immediately: Take advantage of the fall season and cool weather to get outdoors and exercise.
You want to head into the holiday season in the best condition possible — and maintain it all the way through. If you feel better about yourself, you're likely to be more judicious about how you celebrate during the holidays.
