PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — During the COVID-19 pandemic most of us, whether scientists or not, found ourselves drowning in information about the virus.
At the time it was quite necessary. As a result, many — if not most — Americans have been burned out by the subject and want to put their heads in the sand. Clearly, those of us in medicine can't afford to do this, but what can you do if you're not in health care?
My suggestion is to give COVID a few minutes every week or two. For example — this fall's latest COVID mutation is called Eris, named after the Greek goddess of strife and discord. However, Eris has not significantly differed from other strains.
