PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It is time for new year's resolutions. If you ask people, it is quite safe to say that, for many people, a better diet or an exercise program will be on the list.
Perhaps it is the time of year, following the holiday season, but people look in the mirror and say perhaps I could drop a few pounds. Some researchers point to something more important to consider as a resolution: improving your attitude.
For instance cutting out negativity or taking time to share your concerns and fears with loved ones. Your attitude and approach to life can have a tremendous impact on your overall health. Many of us eat out of stress or anxiety and exercise programs can fall victim to unrealistic expectations. Work on your attitude and many of the other physical issues will go away or not be so important.
