PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men have been charged with breaking into a Lululemon store in Ardmore last month and stealing nearly $11,000 in merchandise, authorities announced on Thursday.
According to the Lower Merion Township Police Department, 23-year-old Quran Harmon and 49-year-old James Jordon, both of Philadelphia, used a sledgehammer to enter the business in the early morning hours of Jan. 6.
Officials said the security alarm went off, but when police arrived, the suspects had fled Suburban Square with the merch.
Police identified the two men, and on Jan. 11, a search warrant was served at a Philadelphia home. Stolen Lululemon merchandise was found inside the residence.
The pair is also accused of a similar burglary at a Famous Footwear store in Philadelphia on Jan. 5. Merchandise from that store was recovered from the home as well.
Harmon turned himself in to Lower Merion detectives on Jan. 29. Jordan was arrested on Feb. 6 by Upper Moreland police during a separate incident.
Both men are awaiting preliminary hearings.
