PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Monroe County woman has been charged with the murder of her husband and their 3-year-old son in a room at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos on Monday.
According to court records, Metallica Rose Harrison, of Towanda, called 911 and told the dispatcher that she "needed help dying" and could not find the "vein in her neck to stab."
When police arrived at the room, they found her husband, Charles Harrison, and the 3-year-old boy, identified in records as “T.H.,” dead.
They said Harrison had cuts to her left wrist and neck.
Harrison allegedly told an officer that "it wasn't supposed to end like this. I was supposed to have my happy family… that's what I envisioned since I was a child."
Officials said Harrison was treated at an area hospital and remains in police custody.
She is charged with two counts of homicide.
