PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Montgomery County man has been indicted for allegedly cyberstalking a Whitpain Township government official, police officer, and their families.
According to the U.S. Attorney's office, in April, Scott Testa of Lafayette Hill posted AI images of the victims wearing KKK robes on Reddit. One of the images allegedly included photos of the victim's children, who were also depicted in KKK robes.
He also allegedly posted the names of one of the victim's kids, an address he thought belong to one of the victims, and threatening messages that said things like "we are watching you."
Testa was ordered detained after appearing in federal court on Tuesday, pending his trial. He could face a maximum sentence of decade in prison if convicted.
