
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two more people, including a teenager, have been arrested in connection with shots that were fired at a school bus in Coatesville last month.
The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced on Sunday the arrests of 17-year-old Gabriel Johnson and 20-year Jose Medina, both from Coatesville.
They each face a number of charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and other related offenses.
Johnson has been charged as an adult.
The shooting happened at the end of the school day on Oct. 10. Police were called to the area of Hope Avenue and Charles Street for a report of someone shooting at a school bus.
According to investigators, surveillance footage shows four men walking through an intersection when two of them fired down the street, hitting the bus.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Another young man, 18-year-old Jaki White-Marshall, was charged shortly after the shooting happened.
Investigators determined that Johnson fired six shots at the school bus, and Medina was one of the individuals with Johnson at the time.
