PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A motorcycle rider died after he crashed on an exit ramp from I-95, went over the barrier, and fell to the ground below, Pennsylvania State Police said.
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday.
Police found 33-year-old Karl Kirschner, of Pottstown, unresponsive on the ground at Second and Callowhill streets. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet, but there was no bike near him.
Police later found the bike on the ramp from I-95 south to the Vine Street Expressway.
Kirschner was taken to the hospital, where he died shortly thereafter.
