PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 31-year-old East Norriton man has been accused of running a multi-state theft ring that authorities said is responsible for retail thefts totaling more than $150,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Nehemiah Jones, from the Rolling Green Apartments in East Norriton, directed multiple thefts at the King of Prussia, Cherry Hill and Concord malls, hiring drivers and what investigators called “runners” to go inside stores to snatch and grab high-end merchandise.

The affidavit of probable cause connects Jones’ cellphone to thefts and robberies dating to April 2024, stating he would often coach the people, including juveniles, while they were in the stores, for example, telling them that loss prevention can’t touch or grab them.

The complaint showed that Jones was behind a robbery at Givenchy in King of Prussia, where four people sprayed mace or pepper spray at an employee in the store and ran out with about $23,000 worth of merchandise.

Nearly half of the 176 charges filed against Jones are felonies, including conspiracy, organized retail theft and robbery.

He is being held at Montgomery County Correctional Facility, unable to post $250,000 cash bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for next month.
