PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — You could get the chance to immerse yourself even deeper into some of your favorite shows, thanks to the brand-new Netflix House at the King of Prussia Mall.

The facade bears an expansive mural featuring characters and figures from various Netflix shows designed by local artist Emily White. The entrance is designed to resemble a large red envelope, like the ones Netflix used to send DVDs to your house.

Now, the Netflix House offers fans of some of the platform’s biggest shows a chance to leap into those worlds with VR and arcade games, immersive stories, and themed food and drinks.

“We imagine folks coming here, and wandering the halls of Nevermore Academy from ‘Wednesday,’ or maybe going on a daring adventure with pirates from ‘One Piece,’ or playing golf in the universe of ‘Bridgerton,’” said Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters. “It’s at the center of what we do, which is put fans in the middle of their stories.”

King of Prussia’s Netflix House is the first of several in the country. One is set to open in Dallas next month, while another in Las Vegas is slated for 2027. But Netflix’s other CEO, Ted Sarandos, said King of Prussia came first for a simple reason: “It’s a great place for business.”

Gov. Josh Shapiro echoed those comments.

“It says a lot about our commonwealth,” he said. “It says a lot about Upper Merion and Montgomery County that this is the place they chose when they looked at the entire United States. They put their finger on King of Prussia.”

Netflix House opens, fittingly, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, with both an immersive experience from the show “Wednesday” and another based around their adaptation of the anime “One Piece.”
