Flood-prone areas recovering from rainy weekend brace for another storm system making its way toward New Jersey

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Flood-prone areas in the KYW Newsradio listening area are getting a one-two punch after a wintry weekend of snow, slush and rain.

Another major storm system is making its way to our region and, if current models hold, 2 to 4 inches of rain could fall on already saturated ground and melting snowpack on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anticipating flood conditions New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency.
